Short trade with target above (or long trade with target below) the entry level

Sometimes Sentient Trader will present a trade opportunity that is either a short trade with a target above the entry level or a long trade with a target below the entry level. Although this may look like a bug or a glitch, in fact there is a potential trade there.

How is that possible?

The target that is presented to you by ST is in fact the average of what is actually a range. The range is simplified when it is presented to you and the median of that range is the target specified by ST. The price however may well go to the bottom of that range (in the case of a short trade with a high target) or to the top of that range (in the case of a long trade with a low target) and therefore make a profitable trade.

It is then up to you, the user, to decide whether or not you want to take the trade or filter it out.
