A Sentient Trader licence can be activated on up to 3 different computers. However it is only possible to use the licence on one computer at a time.
To activate your licence on a new computer follow these steps:
1) Ensure that your existing installation of Sentient Trader is closed.
2) Download and install Sentient Trader on the new computer. If you can't find the link to download the Sentient Trader installer then take a look at this article.
3) Open the new version of ST and go to Help> Activate licence. You will be presented with a "Welcome to Sentient Trader" splashscreen. In that window you will find a space for your email and a space for your licence key.
4) Insert the email address you used when you purchased the licence. Then click on "Request Licence Key". After a short wait you should see the message "Your license activation key has been emailed to you. Please check your email inbox!".
5) Check your inbox and also your spam folder just in case. When you have located the email we recommend you to copy and paste the activation key in the space for the licence key. You can now click on the "Activate Licence" button in the bottom right-hand corner.
6) Activation should take a few seconds, after which you will see the message "License activation successful.", followed by the type of licence. Congratulations, you've activated ST on a new computer!
Please note that once a licence has been activated on more than one computer, on shutdown, Sentient Trader will present a message stating:
Would you like to return this licence to the server so that it can be used on your other licensed computer?

N.B. Sentient Trader licences are limited to a maximum of 3 activations. Once that threshold has been reached to activate on a new computer it will be necessary to contact Hurst Cycles support to have superfluous activations deleted. Users will be warned that they have reached 3 activations. Due to software and hardware changes multiple activations will occasionally be assigned to the same computer.
