How to run an Inverted analysis (peak analysis)

According to Hurst's Market Cycles Principles, troughs are synchronized. Hence peaks are less certain to predict than troughs. This applies to the vast majority of instruments, but commodities and some bonds work counter to that, hence we developed the possibility to run peak analyses.

The EURUSD forex pair for example behaves with synchronized troughs. However, if one was to invert the pair, i.e. plot USDEUR, then it would have synchronized peaks.

It is possible to invert the analysis by clicking on the Troughs button on the toolbar to the right of the big green "Analyze now" button. From V.4 of Sentient Trader it is now also possible to run a dual analysis. Clicking on that same button will switch between TroughsPeaks and T&P. T&P stands for Troughs & Peaks and will run both analyses at the same time.

For full peak analysis functionality and to run a dual analysis please make sure you have the latest version of the software installed.

Take a look at this video on running a dual analysis.
